The Laurence Sterne Prize – get your collection published by Beir Bua Press

This is an opportunity to submit your work to the press and be in with a chance to be published while supporting this female run indie Irish experimental press who will be donating 10% of profits to Felician Ireland in memory of my darling. I want to donate EUR5,000 for Felician Ireland in memory of my Darling by December 6th 2021. Can you help me?

BBP is looking for experimental poetry, LANGUAGE poetry, surreal-absurd, lyrical poetics, creative non- fiction, essays on literature or art history (but not thesis or academic papers,) no vispo for this competition.

BBP and editor, Michelle Moloney King, are fans of the gas man, Laurence Sterne, Anglo-Irish and born in Clonmel (ed’s nearest big town for clothes shopping.) As Sterne was the father of the avant-garde nearly 200 years before it was crawling I’d appreciate poetry with an experimental edge but keep the formatting calm, lads, alright!

Please do considering buying a beautiful pamphlet made by this Irish press before you submit so you get a feel for the press and support it, if you are in a position to do so.

Details below, good luck, Michelle x
