Lianne O’Hara is a poet and writer from Amsterdam.
She writes poetry, prose, and drama. In 2020, she was selected for the Poetry Ireland Introductions Series, featuring a reading at International Literature Festival Dublin, and awarded a Literature Bursary from the Arts Council of Ireland. Her poem ‘Soap’ was shortlisted for the 2021 Bridport Prize and longlisted for the 2019 National Poetry Competition. Her work is published in Banshee, Poetry Ireland Review, The Honest Ulsterman, The Ogham Stone, Channel, Splonk, B O D Y, Writing Home: The ‘New Irish’ Poets anthology, Amsterdam Quarterly, Crossways, and Black Bough Poetry. She lives in Dublin, where she teaches creative writing at UCD.
