The committee of the Ennis Book Club Festival are looking to recruit an Artistic Director for the 2023 Ennis Book Club Festival. The Artistic Director will be responsible for the development of a weekend programme of events (March 3-5, 2023), which reflects the vision and ethos of this well-established Festival.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of and interest in literature and literary events, a commitment to artform development and a track record in programming of events or festivals or relevant experience in a multi-disciplinary arts practice.
The Artistic Director will take the lead role in seeking out innovative Irish and international writers. They will devise, plan and direct the overall programme for the weekend within the Festival parameters as set out by the committee and with the assistance of the administrator. In addition, the Artistic Director will take an active role in coordinating the programme and liaising with PR.
