The Artist’s Eye is delighted to announce the launch of their new book “The Artist’s Eye on Galway” along with an exhibition of original selected artworks from the publication. This project is a celebration of the artwork of both Galway City & County, from 46 contributing artists of various backgrounds and stages of their respective careers. This book takes the reader on a colourful journey through Galway City & County, from iconic landmarks, to rugged landscapes, and give a unique perspective of this fantastic location. All contributing artists have a special feature in the book with a short biography and statement of their work. The launch and exhibition opening is on the evening of Monday, the 4th of July at 7:30pm, in the Galmont Hotel, with the exhibition open for viewing on the 5th and 6th from 11am – 6pm.
