This dedicated sculpture exhibition showcases large-scale works by 33 of Ireland’s leading artists in one of Ireland’s largest gallery spaces. Modern Irish Sculpture’s unique focus gives the unparalleled opportunity to view a broad range of contemporary sculpture under one roof. The exhibiting artists include Michael Quane, Eileen McDonagh, Alva Gallagher, Bob Quinn, Jim Turner, Cecilia Moore and Martin O’Keefe. The exhibiting sculptors have national and international reputations with their works included in public collections around the world from the USA to China. This unique exhibition is part of the Kenmare Arts Festival 2022.
The Kenmare Butter Market opened in June 2020 to showcase the work of both national and international artists. This will be the first sculpture exhibition being held there.
