Artist statement

I tend to start with a narrative. Sometimes that narrative is a photograph or an experience. I try to adapt anything into a narrative to make sense of everything The LOSS began as an epic poem about the discovery of an ancestral book. It became a 73,000-word book within a book, covering three generations of literacy and three world wars
