Gabrielle Cracknell, recently completed a degree at the University of Nottingham, where she discovered a passion for poetry. Work has been featured in publications such as the Nottingham Poetry Exchange Voices Anthology and Streetcake and last year was shortlisted for the Streetcake Experimental Writing Prize.

Artist Statement
. These two poems were bookends of the collection I submitted for my Uni poetry module. I am a lover of sunsets and sunrises, I wanted to make them come alive on a page as people. I cut phrases from the Sunday Times and assembled them on two photographs I had taken, giving them new poetic meaning. 5. 04:54am and 21:09pm
